For some entity types (e.g. Direct Equities, Hybrids, Unit Trusts and Derivatives), Mclowd™ stores a database of Australian listed entities.
When you begin typing in the Stock Code field, this list drops down and you can select the entity.
The Asset Name field will then automatically populate.
For Listed Entities, Mclowd™ will usually display HIN (Holder Identification Nmber) and SRN (Shareholder Registration Number) fields.
For some types of entities (e.g. Hybrids), there may also be a Holder Number field provided.
Entering this information is optional. You can usually find it on a Confirmation of Purchase advice or periodic statements supplied by the entity.
